Once again exhibiting in Barcelona. A year passed so quickly, a new showroom hosted us within the OffJOYA circuit. I really thank Cassina Barcelona, the JOYA dream-team and, last but not least, Torre Fornello, for this special collaboration. What Cassina let us experiment has been an opportunity of uncommon value, with the chance of highlighting an unexpected pairing between the history of design and an actual perspective in jewellery, by introducing the Gioielli in Fermento #gallery of selected artists.
If JOYA Art Jewellery Fair – edition 2015 – at Ars Santa Monica, aknowledged the raise of “Métissages” by The Morning Bark as a new grammar of beauty, we can state that the latest set up of Gioielli in Fermento may be considered as a further suggestion to make audience enjoy the discovering of contemporary and art jewellery in dialogue with a strong background as these masterpieces of design furniture represent.
In my opinion, not so often contemporary jewellery was ever as best resolved in its showing situations as in these recent years, and thanks to a lot of initiatives and ventures this essay is more and more effective.

I loved watching Joya unfold its many layers in this particular edition. I think in many ways it was unprecedented and historic. Gioielli in Fermento and Les Metissages were its crowning jewels. Congratulations on such a fine show!
