ALUMINIUM – GIOIELLI D’ALLUMINIO

Da anni lavoro i metalli come ho visto fare da sempre da mio padre incisore, senza saldare e senza fondere, con un contatto più fisico, un incontro tra l’energia dei miei gesti e dei miei strumenti e la sostanza e la struttura che è loro propria. Lavoro l’alluminio, metallo semplice, sulla forza dei riflessi e dei segni, con incisioni e svuotature combinate: fresature programmate a controllo numerico su percorsi che disegno ogni volta, a cui si sovrappongono fresature libere e interventi manuali ad effetto, zigrinature e particolari a bulino e a martello, piccole cesellature. alluminio si fa prezioso, nella sua estrema semplicità e purezza, nella sua luce più contemporanea e morbida, nella consistenza di forme piene e pur leggere,  piacevoli addosso.

Infine una doppia passione: gioielli e vino. Dal 2011 ho dato vita a “Gioielli in Fermento” un progetto espositivo collettivo.

ALUMINIUM – ALUMINIUM JEWELS
Design, project and engravings by Eliana Negroni in Italy

I have been working with metal for many years having learned from my father who was a master engraver, without welding or casting and this allows for more direct contact with metals. For sometime I have been working with aluminium, chasing light effects through engraving and the use of precision machinery, always creating pieces based on my original designs, reworking each piece by hand. In my opinion, this simple and ordinary metal then becomes so precious revealing all its purity and lightness that makes it a unique adornement, though the thickness of solid and still light shapes, nice wearing and pleasing to the touch.

Double passion: jewellery and wine. I live engraving metals, trying to do my best with contemporary one of a kind jewellery, meanwhile I’m telling #awinetale give birth to the project of an international jewellery exhibition ‘Gioielli in fermento’ .
